You Too Can Travel The World

Everyone wishes or hopes to travel around the world but for some, traveling remains a dream because of their financial constrains. Yet, from my own experience traveling overseas, I believe anyone can travel to any part of the world if they learn how to travel cheap.
Travel cheap equals budget traveling. If you long to travel away from your country to a faraway place and just experience something different, you can achieve it with some research and researching travel information have never been any easier since the advent of the world wide web.
There are many places to visit in this world. If you want to travel, you can always start by traveling to cheaper country. If you are an American or a European for example, you can always travel to Asia for most countries in Asia are still cheap to travel, especially the Asian countries.
If you are an Asian, with proper planning and saving, you can at least travel to a European country once a year. If not, you can also travel to South American countries for most of the South American countries are cheaper to visit too.
What I have realized from my own travel experience is that the one thing preventing people from traveling is the cost of getting to the country they want to visit. It means the rate of flight tickets. Even then, you can always find discounted or cheaper flight tickets if you know how.
The rate of flight ticket really depends to the Airline Company and the type of flight you are going to take. You can always take transit flights instead of direct flights. It is the cost of direct flights that is expensive. If you take transit flights, you will reach your destination late because of the many interchange you have to go through but it is cheaper. It will be even cheaper if you choose cheaper Airline Company.
Once you reach the country you are visiting, you can further save on your expenses and still enjoy the country fully. For example, if you are going to travel from one destination to another within the country you are visiting, you can always take a public transport like bus instead of a taxi. In fact, in most country, the bus and train fares are the same for both locals and tourists. Often, it is the taxi drivers who cuts throat by charging expensive.
On the other hand, you can also stay in a budget hotel instead of a five star hotel and why would you want to stay in a five star hotel unless your country don’t have such a five star hotel? One thing I notices about five star hotels is that they charge a different rates for tourist compared to for the locals. This is one of the reasons I stay in budget hotels in most of my travels and if you are good in negotiating, you can even get the rooms for much cheaper rate.
You can save a lot on your travel if you can just avoid staying in expensive hotels. You can also save on your food by eating at where the locals’ eats instead of those special places made for tourists. If you are visiting the country through a travel agent for example, they often take you to a certain place meant especially for tourists. These places have special rates for tourists. You can always avoid it by choosing to visit a local restaurant where locals eat.
I hope this motivates you enough to take that step in actually making your dream come true even though you believe it will be costly to travel. Remember this; the only major cost you are going to have is your flight ticket. Everything else can be saved so much if you do a proper research about the country you want to visit. This is what I do and this is why I can travel often. Use the Internet and do the research now and go visit that dream country you have always want to visit.
