Travelling Like A Professional

I am not a travel agent or an expert in traveling. I am still learning a lot about traveling but I can say I have been to some of the most happening cities as well to some of the most remote places in this world.
If I can give some travel tips, I’d say this, “Get prepared”. It simply means having done everything you should do before you take that journey so that when you leave your home, you will leave peacefully without fear or worries.
The first you need to know is to realize before traveling anywhere is that anything can happen to you while in that country. So prepare yourself by bringing along the essential things you will be using daily such as proper clothing the one you can was and dry easily, medicines such as Diamox or diarrhea pills, credit cards or enough of cash, your passport and other travel documents.
The things you are going to bring along when you are traveling depend to where you are going. So research careful about the country you are going to visit and take only what you will be using. For example, if you are visiting a tropical country, you don’t bring a winter jacket but some loose clothes such as cotton t shirts as it will be hot in such countries.
You have to keep yourself light so you can move freely. This means if you don’t have to carry a luggage, don’t carry one. For example, if you are going for trekking activities in the Himalayan range, you don’t have to carry a luggage but a backpack. I always carry only one backpack with a few clothes, a digital camera and other essentials. It keeps my weight free and gives great mobility.
The other thing I like to say is that, like you there are thousands of other travelers traveling daily. Whether they are taking a bus or airplane it doesn’t make a difference but I want you to know, don’t be a reason to make other people’s traveling miserable. During your travel anywhere, be courteous with both the locals as well as other tourist you meet in your travel.
Also, when you are leaving to the airport, make sure you have packed all the essentials and leave early. Don’t make the silly mistake others are making such as arriving late to the airport causing the plane to wait for them to board the plane last minute. I have personally experienced such thing and it’s really irritating to know some irresponsible people are causing delay in flight.
Arrive early, get your boarding pass, check in your luggage or whatever you need to check in, and enjoy some time in the airport. When it is time for boarding the plane, get on in on time. If every one can do this timely, everyone will be happy and off you go flying hassle free. So these are the basics you need to do.
I don’t want to say this as it is always what we expect that comes into reality, but I have to say this. It is very important to have the realization that anything unwanted can happen during travel. Don’t expect unwanted things to happen, but just be aware that it is possible and prepare wisely to avoid such incidents during your travel. As far as I know, these are what the professional travelers do.
